Storm Reports 2007-2008
On April 26th hail was reported in Southwest
Austin, Oakhill, and Pflugerville areas. The
Pflugerville and Temple areas reported golf ball
sized hail and high winds on April 26th. High winds
associated with both storms caused damage to
many homes.
On May 15th 2008 the Austin area was hit with
the largest storm reported since 1993 in Travis
county. West Austin suffered 1"-3" Hail and
80-90mph wind gust. As the storm crossed the
downtown area at Loop One 3" Hail was reported
.Round Rock and North Austin reported Hail Up to
4" and severe damage was reported across Travis
& Williamson counties.
